To learn more about the purpose and basis of creation of child theme read WordPress Codex about <a href=\"https:\/\/codex.wordpress.org\/Child_Themes\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><em>child theme<\/em><\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>What you need to know about child theme is that <strong>child theme is the only safe method of implementing custom changes in Boombox Theme<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>A few recommendations on how to use Child Theme from Boombox Theme:<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>Almost all files from the main theme can be replaced in the theme. It concern .php files with templates and basic logics, both .js, .css files from respective folders and files with images, icons etc..<\/li>\n<li>If you want to change some of the theme\u2019s functions or to add new ones, you need to create file &#8216;<strong>functions.php<\/strong>&#8216; in the folder &#8220;<strong>boombox-child<\/strong>&#8220;, and add all required functions into it.
